David Geary
David joined The Trace as a copy editor in 2016, following 15 years at The New York Times, mostly as late editor on the News Desk. Before that, he was a reporter, columnist and editor in Boston and Los Angeles. He won the Los Angeles Press Club Award for Best Investigative Reporting in 1987. He is also a contract copy editor for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
